I love nature. This is another painting of mine depicting nature. I have always fancied those humming birds since childhood. Was able to put it on canvas this time. I had this camera snap from which I have done this.

Lake and Swans: Oil On Canvas

This is my first painting after being trained for the first time in oil paintings. Indeed it took a lot of time finish this one because it was done with a number of coats in the way all oil painting should be done ideally and it took quite a lot of time to dry too. This painting has 'impressionist' style.

I love to paint landscapes as I feel closer to nature while painting those and with each stroke of the brush I discover the mesmerizing colour effects the master artist God has put together in nature.

Was able to squeeze out some time to finish this long pending one. It took a lot of time though to paint this in order to get what I wanted to see. Finally was able to meet my expectations to some extent. Now I want to do more which has these difficult to get shades. Wait for my next one... I am already working on the next...
